Hello and welcome!

A bit about me...

I accepted my first nursing job on a Med-Surg unit in Casper, WY in 2013. While I felt drawn to pediatrics, turns out I was better suited for adults. After 5 years of bedside nursing in a variety of settings, I decided to leave for health reasons.

Or so I thought...

In 2019 I surprised myself and accepted a position in a nursing home where I wasn't on my feet all the time. I loved it. Then the Coronavirus happened in conjunction with my second baby.

A year later, I was recruited by a friend to work at a staffing agency as a healthcare recruiter. From 2022 to 2025 I recruited hundreds of nurses and medical assistants for specific roles, feeling more like a coach guiding each person through the hiring process.

As time went on I started getting contacted by nurses outside of work asking for job advice, which eventually prompted me to start Nurse Engine.

That's my story...what's yours?

Being helpful, service-minded types, nurses aren't always wired for selling themselves. But if you're looking to transition from the bedside as I did, I would love to help you realize your potential.
